Getting started

Install

  1. Download Edist and open the disk image.
  2. Drag Edist into your Applications folder.
  3. Launch it from the Dock or Launchpad.

Edist runs on macOS 15 Sequoia or later, on both Apple silicon and Intel Macs.

Your first document

Create a new .typ file and start typing. The PDF preview on the right updates live as you write — no save, no compile button:

= Hello, Edist
This updates *as you type*.
